By JESSICA POLLARD STAFF WRITER Hermiston’s annual downtown celebration returned to its roots on Saturday. The celebration was called Spudfest for decades before being renamed Funfest for several years. Saturday’s cele- bration returned to the Spudfest name in honor of one of Hermiston’s most prolifi c crops. FRIDAY, JULY 12 9:45 a.m. A burglary occurred on East Gladys Avenue. 8:27 p.m. On North First Street, a drunk driver was reported. SATURDAY, JULY 13 11:58 a.m. There was a domestic disturbance between a man and a woman reported on West Hermiston Avenue. 4:46 p.m. A domestic disturbance was reported on South First Street. 8:31 p.m. A physical disturbance between a son and a mother occurred on West Madrona Avenue. 9:53 p.m. A domestic disturbance was reported on Southwest Thirteenth Place. 10:42 p.m. On South- west Eleventh Street a miss- ing person was reported. SUNDAY, JULY 14 10:22 a.m. Unautho- rized entry of a motorized vehicle occurred on North- east Fifth Street. 2:10 p.m. There was a drunk driver was reported on North First Street. 11:07 p.m. A domestic disturbance was reported on North First Street.
